Veneers/ Laminates

Laminates are usually made from porcelain, and provide the patient with the ability to strengthen and beautify.

Porcelain veneers allow the opportunity to close spaces and unwanted gaps.

Laminates are one option to alter the shape and color of teeth with stability and strength, they can provide translucency which regular composites can not always
provide.

Veneers are specially treated to adhere to the enamel of your teeth.
The bonding process can provide beautiful and strong teeth and many years of
service.

Bleaching

It is best for the patient to bleach with the guidance of a dentist who can provide both a knowledge based and objective opinion about the success of treatment and
the safety of the product you are using.

At Dr. Goldenthal's office you will be provided clear shade matches to give perspective.

We offer both in office bleaching as well as home bleaching choices.

White Fillings

Composites have been around for over forty years and have become the staple in
dentistry replacing silver fillings.

 Advantages :

1)  Composites have beautiful esthetics, color, and can restore a tooth to its original beauty.

2)   Composites  can contain Fluoride which can reduce future decay.

3)   Because they are bonded to teeth, composites can often support existing tooth structure.

4)   Composites and  their many forms are used as adhesives in dentistry as well.

5)    Shade matching has come a long way and a natural appearance can be achieved.

 Disadvantages:

1) they can wear away over the years and the longevity is dependent on how much support you expect it to provide to the rest of the tooth as well as the nature of someones bite.

Someone with a grinding or clenching habit may wear them out more quickly.

2) Composites need to be touched-up from time to time depending on the ability of an individual to develope stains either due to to diet or some other factor.

Orthodontics/ Clear Braces

Adults and teens are often ideal candidates for minor tooth movement. In most cases patients are in therapy for an average of 16 to 28 weeks from start to finish. The Clear Braces  can be removed easily and quickly.

There is no need to eat with them, and they can be taken out in a moment for special events etc..

Dr. Goldenthal provides a clinical, and radiologic exam. He will take models and give the patient an estimate of all cost and how long treatment will take. The case is sent to the lab for confirmation and the patient can decide if he wants to commit to treatment based on any modificaions.
